We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Advertising Assistant to join our Marketing team in Langley, BC.

This temporary position is expected to last 12 months.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Production, you will be responsible for supporting the Production team, including production artists and photographers, to produce print and digital media as well as supplementary tasks to ensure timely delivery of advertising projects.

You will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with the merchandising team, production artists, and photographers to obtain copy and photography for print and digital media production.
• Determining the suitability and assignment of photos using various software programs to process multiple dockets for upcoming print and digital marketing.
• Creating, updating and maintaining image databases.
• Entering and reviewing print production information into the database.
• Processing change reports and updating dockets as required.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to discuss advertisement requirements, including investigating missing information and problem-solving to ensure deadlines are met.
• Proofing print and digital media advertising for accuracy.
• Assisting production artists in the construction of print and digital media, including typesetting and placement of graphic images.
• Responding to queries relating to the print and digital production process.

You have:

• 1-2 years of administrative experience, with a minimum typing speed of 35 WPM.
• A post-secondary education in marketing or a related field is an asset.
• Proficiency with MAC or PC applications, primarily Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Experience with Adobe InDesign is an asset.

• Enthusiastic about digital marketing and production projects.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Compensation Details:

$48,000.00 - $60,000.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
