What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone with strong communication, multitasking skills, and attention to detail to join our Burnaby Head office location and the Personal Insurance Team.

The Requirements

  • 1+ year(s) of administration or office experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of  MS Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams
  • Excellent time management and proven to effectively prioritize workflow.
  • Self-starter and proactive team player.
  • You bring excellent communication skills to the team; both verbal and written.
  • Superior organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders.
  • Level 1 General Insurance License is an asset.

A Day in the Life

  • First thing’s first, you’ll be updating client databases, invoicing, quality checking documents and generating letters, emails and other insurance documents using our Broker Management System (EPIC).
  • You’ll scan & attach documentation in the Broker Management System.
  • You’ll handle daily incoming mail (hard copy and electronic) and process outgoing mail.
  • Provide ongoing administrative support for the entire personal lines sales and service teams.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some
