The role reports to the Actuarial Manager, Life Reinsurance with a focus on pricing and preparing reinsurance quotations, reporting, experience analytics, statistical analysis and providing technical support in response to customer requests.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Pricing and quotation of business within agreed parameters.
Provide actuarial and technical support in respect of life reinsurance business (traditional and non-traditional structures) for client companies and reinsurance partners.
Conducting experience studies, statistical analysis and performing profitability analysis of reinsurance accounts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics or related field (Actuarial Science strongly preferred)
Minimum of 2 SOA or equivalent Actuarial Exams passed (3-4 strongly preferred)
Good knowledge of life insurance products
Knowledge of pricing principles and profit testing techniques
Knowledge of experience analysis
Knowledge of sources of data for pricing purposes.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
Proficient in Moodys/GGY AXIS
Proficient in MS-Office tools, especially MS-Excel and MS-Access.
Proficient in other statistical / data, or math related languages such as R or Python.
Ability to access and analyze data using SQL.
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
