This position is for an Accounting Manager at our Vancouver offices. This is a hybrid role with three days in office. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4:30.

About You

You are a financial accounting authority with management experience. You have strong performance management and coaching experience, and the ability to be adaptable. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of the month, quarterly and year end closes for a sizeable portfolio, and will have a team of professionals reporting to you. You will also take on exciting projects and initiatives to continuously improve processes and procedures.

In This Role

  • Your team will be able completing month end close process efficiently, and with no errors; your team’s efficiency will be optimal

  • You will have an engaged and motivated team

  • You will be a trusted member or the Accounting Management team, and a go to member of staff

What You’ll Bring

  • 7 years of experience in Financial Accounting in roles growing in responsibility

  • 3 years minimum experience managing a team of Accounting professionals of 3 or more

  • Strong leadership and mentor abilities

Bonus Skills and Experience

  • CPA Designation and Bachelors Degree in Finance or relevant field

  • Knowledge of Generally Applied Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred

  • Experience at a Public company is an asset

Please note we are a Certified CPA Training Office

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $113,000.00 to $125,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
