Job Description:

The TD Equipment Finance (TDEF) team is a Centre of Excellence within TD Specialized Commercial Banking. Our mandate is to structure equipment financing (leases and loans) for business clients and prospects as an alternative to other conventional bank sources of financing such as term loans.

 

TD Equipment Finance group is seeking individuals interested in starting a career within the commercial equipment finance business. As an Account Manager, you will partner with an experienced and knowledgeable Account Executive.

 

As an Account Manager, you will apply your skills in a collaborative and team-driven environment.

You will support Account Executives with developing and implementing marketing support and solicitation programs, such as cold calling, prospecting, and attending industry events as well as developing business sales strategies and credit analysis.

 

You will develop relationship management skills by assisting clients with their business plans and offering customized financial solutions that meet the needs of their individual operations.

 

Daily, you will keep on top of competitive developments, environmental market trends, essential economic conditions within the equipment financing industry.

 

Job requirements: 

·       You have an undergraduate degree or working towards an undergraduate degree in Finance/Accounting or experience within the commercial lending industry.

·       Relevant sales and/or customer relationship management experience;

·       Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative, team-driven environment;

·       Demonstrates a commitment to being customer-centric by ensuring a legendary service is provided during every customer interaction to maximize retention and growth;

·       Sound ability to develop a business sales development strategy;

·       Possesses considerable initiative and ability to build relationships;

·       Excellent analytical skills;

·       Ability to excel at administration and be exceptionally well organized;
