The Flooid Account Manager for Canada acts as the main point of contact for a named set of Flooid Canadian customers and is responsible for developing/nurturing relationships with key C-level executives, driving customer satisfaction.  Additionally, the Account Manager for Canada serves as an escalation point for existing projects, maintaining service level achievement and building organic growth.  Finally, the successful candidate will display the drive and initiative needed to meet or exceed annual order and revenue objectives.

While this role will work exclusively with Flooid customers, the successful candidate will be employed by Flooid’s parent company, Glory Global Solutions, and compensation will be in Canadian dollars. To be considered for this remote position, the applicant should be a Canadian resident living/working in either the Eastern or Central Time Zone.

Requirements

You and the Role

The Flooid Account Manager for Canada has great flexibility and the opportunity to work on a variety of large retail accounts.  The primary duties of this role include:

  •  Develop and maintain extensive, strong, and long-term positive relationships with current customers
  • Maximize customer satisfaction and effectively communicate and manage customer expectations
  • Manage strategic and operationally tactical aspects of multiple large-scale customer solutions
  • Manage project profitability, including project estimates, budgets, sales forecasts, and expense management
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Focus on the appropriate priorities in delivering solutions in a timely fashion, including Statements of Work, Change Requests, and legal matters
  • Identify and develop additional sales and service opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Meet and ideally exceed annual sales targets
  • Develop account strategy to ensure an ongoing customer relationship and annual revenue for Education, Professional Services, Managed Services, and Software Development
  • Develop sales opportunities in conjunction with the account strategy
  • Introduce product and service enhancements along with new products and services
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with the customer to review the holistic state of the account and discuss future and strategic opportunities
  • Communicate openly and effectively with Flooid senior leadership on a regular basis
  • Maintain a relationship with and an awareness of the project team principals, methodologies, and practices, to address and resolve customer satisfaction issues
  • Travel to customer and prospect locations as needed (up to 25%)

Skills & Experience

A successful Flooid Account Manager for Canada will be a pro-active self-starter who collaborates effectively with team members and seeks out opportunities for innovation and improvement.  The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or comparable work experience
  • At least 7 years of experience in Sales and/or Account Management
  • At least 5 years of experience in Retail, Supply Chain, or relevant markets
  • Proven record of successfully selling into a named territory of accounts
  • Proven record of quota attainment
  • Knowledge of Retail POS and store solutions
  • Ability to quickly develop a working knowledge of Flooid products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across the company to achieve common goals
  • Working knowledge of budget management, P&L, and revenue forecasting
  • Knowledge of contracts, terms, and commercials around software and services
  • Strategic focus when decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities and deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales with the ability to prioritize accordingly
  • Proactive and energetic with a positive attitude

Location: Canada – Remote (primary North America office located in Cincinnati, Ohio).  Candidates must be based in the Eastern or Central Time Zones.
