This isn’t a boiler room where you’ll be crushed under unattainable quotas. It’s also not a startup at risk of losing funding or being forced to pivot on someone’s whim. About You

  • You’re comfortable talking with a wide range of stakeholders in a variety of situations, whether it’s blue-collar users at a trade show or white-collar execs in a boardroom, and you instinctively adapt your approach for each situation.
  • Just hitting your KPIs is mind-numbing for you. You thrive on identifying new opportunities, and you’re motivated by an intrinsic need to contribute to the company’s success.
  • You understand SaaS is about the relationship and communicating value, and not about closing deals at any cost. For the right customers, you make the decision a no-brainer.
  • You’re a consummate communicator, equally comfortable on the phone, through email, or in person.
  • You recognize that bad process and sloppy follow-up can be fatal to the deal process. You’re a meticulous organizer and scheduler, consistently keeping notes and follow-ups current.
  • You’re comfortable travelling to the US, and being on the road doesn’t affect your productivity.
  • You’re equally effective working individually or as part of a team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle B2B sales, both inbound and outbound, from prospecting to negotiation and close.
  • Maintain and utilize Zoho CRM for pipeline management, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Conduct discovery and demo meetings with prospects.
  • Follow up on and qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in relevant trade shows and industry events that align with the company's target audience and marketing objectives.
  • Collect feedback from leads that close and those that don’t to identify opportunities to improve or optimize the process/messaging.
  • Assist the Channel Business Development Manager in pre-sales engagements with Partner prospects.
  • Manage the handoff with Customer Onboarding to ensure a seamless transition.

Our Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales involving SaaS solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience managing monthly and annual pipelines, as well as proven accuracy in forecasting
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships
  • Proven track record in new business development and client acquisition
  • Comfortable with travel up to 25%
  • Ability to travel to the United States
  • Must reside in Canada
  • Experience with transportation, logistics, or other blue-collar industries would be an asset
  • Experience with Zoho CRM is an asset

  • This is a remote position, suitable for individuals with disabilities
  • This role has a salary range of $60,000-$85,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
