About the role:

The Principal Account Executive is responsible for driving new customer acquisition and growth revenue from mid-size and large digital marketing agencies across North America. Acting as a sales champion for Unbounce landing page solutions and LeadsRx attribution solutions, this role focuses on building strategic relationships, delivering cutting-edge conversion optimization and attribution solutions, and driving measurable growth for agency clients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Market Development: Collaborate with marketing, product to design and implement an effective sales strategy tailored for marketing agencies, promoting a combined solution.
  • Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by securing new business and expanding existing accounts.
  • Customer Acquisition: Identify, engage, and onboard new mid-size and large digital marketing agency clients, positioning Unbounce and LeadsRx solutions as key drivers of their success.
  • Account Growth: Build and nurture relationships with current clients to upsell and cross-sell products, driving increased adoption and account revenue growth.
  • Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified prospects, ensuring consistent progress toward achieving sales goals.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within agencies to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions, client success, and the delivery of accurate sales forecasts.
  • VOC: Help refine our strategic messaging to prospects for these 2 solutions, and bring customer feedback to our marketing and product teams to continually improve our value proposition.

Objectives and Measurements (6-12 Months):

  1. Market Development: 
    • Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop ICP & test a tailored value proposition for a combined solution.
    • Measurement: Conduct market research & develop messaging, identify prospect targeting profile to support Marketing & SDR lead generation.
  2. Revenue Generation:
    • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
    • Measurement: Revenue performance tracked against quotas.
  3. Customer Acquisition:
    • Secure a defined number of new mid-size and large digital marketing agency clients.
    • Measurement: Number of new customers added within the specified timeframe.
  4. Account Growth:
    • Increase account revenue by upselling and cross-selling Unbounce and LeadsRx solutions.
    • Measurement: Percentage growth in account revenue and product adoption rates.
  5. Pipeline Development:
    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with qualified prospects.
    • Measurement: Pipeline volume and lead-to-customer conversion rates.
  6. Customer Engagement:
    • Strengthen strategic client relationships, driving satisfaction and retention.
    • Measurement: Client feedback scores and retention metrics.
  7. Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
    • Measurement: Timeliness and accuracy of forecasts and collaboration metrics.

A little about you:

  • 5-7+ years of proven experience in sales or sales management, preferably within the SaaS or digital marketing industry.
  • Proven history of achieving revenue targets in a complex multiproduct sales environment 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing practices, including conversion optimization and marketing attribution.
  • Experience selling to or working within the Marketing Agency industry.  
  • Deep understanding of common selling methodologies (i.e. MEDDICC,  Challenger Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN) and proven ability to manage a complex sales process 
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.

💵 Compensation range

  •  $173,087 - $224,815 CAD 

The listed compensation is a combination of base salary and variable pay
