In this exciting role with Manulife you will be responsible for the profitable management of a portfolio of group benefit clients in British Columbia, maintain and strengthen relationships with consultants/advisors, and work closely with them to ensure client satisfaction. This position will require you to meet annual financial, growth and profitability objectives for your assigned block of business.
Capitalizing on sound industry knowledge, the Group Benefits Account Executive will develop and grow existing client and consultant/advisor relationships by delivering superior service, effectively communicate Manulife’s value proposition and group benefits products/services and represent Manulife professionally in client-facing meetings. You will keep clients and consultants/advisors informed on changes impacting Group Benefits and have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Group Benefits products, services and workflows both internally and within the regional office environment.
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, and an enthusiasm for doing presentations and leading client meetings are a must for being successful in this role. The successful candidate will demonstrate superior negotiation/influencing skills and the ability to collaborate and work effectively with underwriting, customer service and other internal support teams.

Required Qualifications:
Proven success in a similar role at Manulife, with another insurer, or within the Group Benefits industry, supported by strong customer focus and the ability to negotiate and influence effectively across the organization.
Excellent presentation, communication, and mathematical skills, with the ability to think strategically, propose innovative solutions, and demonstrate strong active listening and positive relationship‑building skills.
Superior project management abilities, including managing multiple competing priorities, taking initiative, working independently, and demonstrating integrity; willingness to develop as an expert in Group Benefit strategies.
Strong technical proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with post‑secondary education in a related field.
Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel.
