As a Control System Engineer, collaborate on designing and maintaining control systems; develop software, troubleshoot issues, and optimize instrumentation for experiments.

Analyze procurement, logistics, and inventory operations to identify inefficiencies and risks; document and redesign processes; lead supply chain and finance improvement meetings; optimize Workday ERP and Microsoft Power Platform tools; develop dashboards and KPIs with Power BI and Excel; support strategic sourcing, market research, business cases, and cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and sustainability.

The specialist will enhance TRIUMF's research through Machine Learning and Quantum Computing, mentor students, lead software development for high-performance computing, and foster partnerships in academia and industry.

The Physicist plans and sets up nuclear physics experiments, manages detectors, communicates with external users, and provides training, while ensuring safety and operational success.
