The role requires substantial underwriting authority, advanced risk expertise, and collaboration across insurance stakeholders.

Remote sales role contacting existing Sun Life Group Retirement Savings plan members to provide advice, recommend savings/investment solutions, build relationships, and drive retention and sales through phone and video consultations.

Lead high-net-worth life and critical illness underwriting for large cases ($5M–$10M), mentor senior underwriters, perform complex medical/financial/lifestyle risk assessments, exercise signing authority, negotiate reinsurance, and present underwriting rationale to advisors and firms.

Build long-term client relationships to provide financial planning advice, recommend and implement insurance and investment products, conduct client meetings, develop business through networking, maintain ongoing client reviews, pursue professional designations, and participate in continuous training and local marketing.

The Advisor Trainee will participate in a six-month program preparing for an advisory career, gaining hands-on experience and personalized coaching while building relationships with clients and learning about financial products.
