Location: UBC - Onsite at the University

Hours: 8-10 hours/week ending on April 15 2026 

Pay: $20-22/hour

Our mission is to drive positive environmental impact while offering convenience and cost savings to our clients.

We are searching for a current UBC student to join our growing customer success team as the first UBC Student Ambassador at Friendlier. Having recently deployed the Friendlier reusable program across 12 locations on campus, and with plans for more, we are looking for a key person to help drive reuse across campus! This role will report to the Director, Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities:

Spreading Awareness:

  • Organize and conduct onsite boothing on a weekly basis at different locations to raise awareness for how to use the Friendlier program
  • Represent Friendlier at key UBC events with a booth
  • Answering student and staff questions
  • Support new location launches of the Friendlier program across UBC

Pulse of Students on Campus:

  • Conducting interviews of students on campus to understand their thoughts on the program and how we can make it better
  • Summarizing insights back to other stakeholders within Friendlier

Experimenting & Improving Program Effectiveness:

  • Regularly conducting audits of Friendlier bins and waste outlets throughout campus to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Running experiments (i.e. placing a bin in a new location for a week) to see if it leads to more returns
  • Other projects as identified by the Director, Customer Success
