We're Looking For:

We are seeking a Sr Market Expansion Manager with experience in field sales and existing key relationships with automotive leaders in the market. You will use your established relationships to gain new clients as well as increase current utilization in the area. You will be involved in building new relationships, driving business in new accounts, and cross-selling solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in the automotive industry, technology sales, and inventory management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of field sales experience, automotive wholesale or dealership leadership (GM and above), and proven long standing contacts and relationships within the market.

  • An Expert Communicator. You have demonstrated success in delivering compelling and persuasive presentations to executive-level audiences and can maintain calm and diplomacy in dispute resolution situations.

  • Strategic. You possess a unique blend of strategic acumen and technical understanding to effectively translate complex solutions into high-level business value.

  • A Fearless Owner. You deliver what you promise by recruiting and retaining clients to increase their use of OPENLANE products and services.

  • Persuasive. You are able to ensure the clients that don't yet see the value we bring are front of mind and you are pleasantly persistent in getting their buy-in.

You Will:

  • Leverage long standing relationships built on trust and value that you bring, enhanced by our offering.

  • Invest 4-5 days on the road visiting assigned High Volume targeted accounts.

  • Register new dealers and get them selling consistently every month, ensuring a smooth account transfer to a sales representative.

  • Re-activate assigned fallout dealers and get them selling again consistently every month.

  • Proactively communicate and maintain excellent working relationships with users and partners.

  • Identify, manage and follow up on leads received through OPENLANE, trade shows and referrals.

  • Manage and update leads and current client accounts within Salesforce.com.

  • Provide constant sales and technical support to current users.

Where you Work:

Your work is performed as a Remote employee. You will be required to travel daily within the Market, often working outside on Dealership lots.

Must Have's:

  • A minimum of 5 years of field sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.

  • A proven sales record with a focus on technology sales and/or inventory management solutions.

  • Existing relationships with Major Dealer Group senior leadership and Franchised Dealer owners.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

  • Proficient user of Google Workspace products and Salesforce.

  • Must possess a valid Canadian driver’s licence with reliable transportation and maintain a good driving record.

Nice to Have's:

  • Proficiency with HighSpot Sales Enablement and Domo.

  • Ability to analyze and identify market trends, changes and implications.

  • Experience providing solutions to problems in dispute resolution situations.
