You will be joining our cloud infrastructure engineering team as a Senior DevOps Engineer. As a key contributor, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the implementation and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure on AWS while ensuring our systems remain reliable, scalable, and secure. We are looking for an experienced, innovative problem-solver who can work effectively in a distributed team environment. Reporting to the DevOps Manager, this role is perfect for someone who is energized by rapid development of complex systems and eager to grow with a fast-moving, industry-defining company. This is a hands-on role where you will support technical excellence and operational stability.

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the design and implement scalable infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, reliable software delivery
  • Implement and support software services, including deployment, networking, monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability and resilience
  • Support the development and enforcement of infrastructure security best practices across all environments
  • Assist in implementing cost optimization strategies for cloud resources without compromising performance
  • Support the SRE culture, focusing on reliability metrics like DORA, SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
  • Participate in incident response for critical production issues and conduct post-mortems where applicable
  • Collaborate with and learn from senior engineers on infrastructure and reliability practices
  • Build automated tooling to reduce operational overhead and improve developer productivity
  • Document infrastructure standards and best practices
  • Collaborate effectively with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders

What We Look For

  • A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles is required
  • A minimum of two to three years of practical experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and architecture is required
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools, specifically Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Solid experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, Elastic Container Service (ECS), or Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Codepipeline, or Codebuild
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or Datadog
  • Proficient scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash
  • Thorough understanding of basic networking concepts, including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, security groups, and load balancing
  • Proven ability to manage technical projects with guidance from senior staff
  • Experience implementing security best practices within cloud environments
  • Familiarity with database administration and optimization, specifically Aurora Relational Database Service (RDS) MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java/Springboot, Node.js) with the ability to debug applications and develop infrastructure automation tools
  • Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration, including troubleshooting and security hardening
  • Proficiency in the general networking stack and the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues
  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule - Monday/Friday WFH, Tuesday - Thursday, in office
