Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of marketing, sales and agronomic solution training to company employees, channel partners and customers on specific products that support a Small Grains Production System including agronomic, process and product information.
  • Establish the interface with sales branch, factory marketing, product planning and channel partners to provide accurate data and analysis to improve product market intelligence, product performance and promote sales activities on specific products. Provide feedback to other business units on customer and channel partner product improvement requests.
  • Work with the channel and end customer to promote, recommend and optimize product, technology stack and data solutions to meet the current agronomic trends within the assigned territory.
  • Provide support or marketing assistance to product, parts, or services through phone, internet systems or field reports.
  • Travel regionally or to the US to conduct after sales follow-up visits with channel partners and/or customers.


What Skills You Need

  • Understanding of Small Grains Production System farm practices and trends associated with agriculture in Western Canada.
  • Knowledge of products, customers and the Ag equipment business.
  • Sales and marketing experience.
  • Production agricultural industry experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Valid driver's license

Education
Ideally you will have a university degree or college education with related work experience in the following:

  • Business, Engineering, Animal Science, Agriculture, Marketing or a related program
