Job Title: Mechatronics Project Leader
Location: Delta, BC (Relocating soon to Richmond, BC)

As the Mechatronics Project Leader, you’ll design and develop smart software, firmware, and UI/UX solutions that power our cutting-edge equipment and machinery. You’ll be a key contributor to our future growth, blending creativity with engineering precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design new electrical, firmware, and software systems (primary focus), with some mechanical design (secondary focus)
- Research and integrate emerging technologies into the Unifiller ecosystem
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for products in development
- Manage customer-specific projects requiring customized solutions
- Test and validate new technologies and equipment
- Ensure project timelines and budgets are met
- Create documentation for newly developed equipment (e.g., manuals, risk assessments)
- Support other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering (with mechanical aptitude)
- Proficiency in C# or similar programming languages
- Firmware development experience is an asset
- Experience with Unity or other UI/UX platforms
- Familiarity with 3D vision technology and industrial Bluetooth applications
- Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Willingness to learn Microsoft Teams, Wrike, Made2Manage (ERP), and Adept (Document Control)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
