The Global Mobility Manager will act as a subject matter expert on global immigration and income tax compliance and will have oversight of the administration and tracking of all mobility costs to ensure global income tax compliance.

About the role.

What you'll be doing.
- Manage the design, implementation and communication of the Company's Global Mobility program, ensuring it is competitive with the market, and drives performance and behaviours in support of the business strategy and objectives
- Manage all expatriate and relocation programs including domestic and international relocations and assignments, ensuring global immigration and tax compliance
- Provide subject matter expertise on all global mobility elements, and sound advice to HR Business Partners through research, analysis, & consultation
- Once candidate has been identified, consult and recommend best assignment structure based upon employee, purpose of assignment; country combinations and tax/social security/immigration requirements; duration of assignment; and career path post-assignment
- Work with HRBP and business leaders near end of assignments to determine repatriation, localization, or extension of assignment
- Manage vendors including expatriate benefits providers, relocation services providers, and tax consultants
- Act as Rewards Subject Matter Expert (SME) by responding to queries and issues raised through HR Shared Services as point of escalation
- Diagnose and resolve process issues where necessary, recommend procedural modifications to aid in employee self-service and HR Shared Services
- Participate as a project team member on various Rewards related projects
What you'll need to be successful.
- 7-10+ years in a global mobility role with strong knowledge of expatriate and relocation processes and practices
- Advanced knowledge of tax, immigration and social security regulations worldwide
- Knowledge of expatriate benefits offerings
- Knowledge of contemporary HR practices
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills specifically in Excel
- Working knowledge of HR systems is beneficial, particularly SuccessFactors
