Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Marine Account Manager to join our team. The position will entail in house training and education as well as outside learning to develop a full understanding of insurance fundamentals and specific knowledge and expertise within the marine insurance segment. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn as well as exceptional organizational and client-facing skills. This role requires working collaboratively with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to provide exceptional service and maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain AMS (Agency Management System) files.
Request and review loss runs.
Handle renewal solicitations.
Review insurance applications.
Issue Certificates of Insurance.
Process and review audits to ensure compliance with marine insurance policies.
Prepare and complete additional insurance forms and process endorsements as required.
Collaborate with agents/brokers, Insureds, and team.
Complete other insurance-related documents as needed.
Stay informed of industry trends and regulations, with a focus on marine insurance.
Strong administrative capabilities with emphasis on attention to detail.
Exceptional ability to interface with clients.
Team-oriented mindset with ability to collaborate effectively.
Property & Casualty (P&C) license required at time of hire or within 6 months of hire.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Data analysis and interpretation skills.

Salary Transparency:
Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $55,000-$60,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
